Public Exhibition Period: Wednesday 4 December 2019 to Wednesday 1 January 2020 inclusive
Snowy Monaro Regional Council is calling on the community to provide feedback on the proposed changes to fees and charges on page 24 “Development Application fee for Subdivisions” and “Subdivision Certificate – linen plan release” that is currently on public exhibition for 28 days. Changes are as follows;
Background
The new provisions in the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (Section 6.13) require all NSW councils to issue a Subdivision Works Certificate (SWC) for subdivision construction activity prior to carrying out any physical works when a development consent has been granted after 1 December 2019.
The current provisions require the granting of a Construction Certificate (CC) for both subdivision and building work. The new provisions separate subdivision construction works through the granting of a SWC from building construction works through the granting of a CC.
With the adoption of the new Subdivision Works Certificate application, Council will be charging the same fees that it has previously charged.

Subdivision Works Certificate Modification
Feedback will be accepted until 5pm Wednesday 1 January 2020.
