Inform Council's Resource and Waste Management Strategy

Snowy Monaro Regional Council is encouraging the community to provide feedback on current resource and waste management services offered by Council.
The feedback received from the community will be used by Council to provide an overview of the region’s expectations of services provided.
Between 20 February 2020 and Monday 16 March Council conducted a survey with our community to initially gather feedback that will assist the development of Council’s Resource and Waste Management Strategy. The strategy provides direction for the department’s services and operations over the next 10-20 years. The strategy will cover all areas of resource and waste management including waste facilities, composting, kerbside collection, bank of bins, education, waste diversion and avoidance, recycling and site rehabilitation.
Following this first round of consultation (the survey), we had planned to host a series of community consultation sessions, where Council could provide an overview of local, regional and national resource and waste management issues. However, due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations, we have instead developed an online version of this presentation. We encourage you to view the "The tipping point - time to transform waste" presentation and provide your feedback in the below form.
Feedback was accepted on this second phase of consultation between Tuesday 9 June 2020 and until midnight Tuesday 23 June 2020.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss any aspects of the presentation please contact us on 1300 345 345.
