Public Exhibition Period: Tuesday 22 October 2019 to Friday 8 November 2019 inclusive
Snowy Monaro Regional Council is calling on the community to have their say on the proposed design for Jindabyne Streetscape Upgrade Plan.
This project is being funding through the NSW Government's Stronger Communities Fund – Major Projects Program (SCFMPP).
This project focuses on the car park garden beds, promenade and amenities block (toilet block) located at the Jindabyne Town Centre. With an emphasis on beautification, the car park garden beds will be replanted and will include shrubs to prevent foot traffic cutting through the garden beds. Concrete sleeper retaining walls will be installed to prevent erosion and enhance the functionality of the garden beds.
Paving upgrades are proposed in three zones, identified in the draft documentation including the new amenities block (toilet block), which is set to go out to tender during November.
