Consultation has concluded
Snowy Monaro Regional Council, at its Ordinary Council Meeting, held on 16 July 2020, resolved to allocate funds toward the ‘Upgrade of Highdale Shopping Centre Carpark, Berridale’.
The initial concepts for upgrading Highdale Carpark were first identified in the Berridale Landscape Masterplan. This plan emanated from an extensive consultation process with the Berridale community in 2014/2015.
Highdale Carpark draft preliminary designs have now been developed and we commenced our first phase of community consultation in July 2020, by meeting with Berridale local business owners at the Berridale Community Hall on 29 July 2020. Following feedback from attending business owners, we have revised the draft preliminary designs and on Monday 7 September, the consultation process was extended to school bus providers and local schools whose pupils are collected from Berridale.
We are now reaching out to our community to obtain your feedback on these draft designs. You can download a PDF version of the proposed designs from the document centre on this page.

The online consultation for this phase of the project closed on Friday 6 November 2020. Thank you to those who have provided feedback. Staff are currently reviewing all submissions and will report said feedback to Council before the next phase of the project moves forward.
