First consultation period closes

This is when we need to close the first round of consultation. What we have heard will then be collated into a report so that the councillors can determine which rates structure they feel should be included in the revenue policy.

Revenue policy consultation starts

The rate structures will be put into the Council's revenue policy and the revenue policy is then put out for public exhibition. People will be able to provide feedback on the rate structure as part of this consultation.

24 June 2021

Revenue policy consultation closes

Submissions on the rate structures and the principles that should apply close here so that the feedback can be provided to councillors to assist them in deciding what type of rate structure to include in the revenue policy.

30 June 2021

Determine rates by this date

This is the date by which the Council should determine the actual rates. This allows the Council to raise its rate account in the normal timeframes.
