Consultation has concluded
Streetscapes Package 1
Snowy Monaro Regional Council (SMRC) is excited to announce the following construction projects that form Streetscapes Package 1, as part of the Stronger Communities Fund – Major Projects Program (SCFMPP):
Adaminaby
Bibbenluke
Bredbo
Cathcart
Dalgety
We invite you to join us on this journey and review the individual project pages to ensure you, the community are engaged throughout the remaining project life cycle. You will find background information, approved scope of works with images and project team contact details.
SMRC is working with the Principal Contractor to construct these streetscapes as part of this exciting program of works for the Snowy Monaro region. As site works commence, regular updates will be posted with photos and progress information.
Design Consultation and Project Background
Council would like to thank everyone who participated in providing valuable feedback for the concept designs that will be delivered as part of the Stronger Communities Fund – Major Projects Program (SCFMPP).

project delivery and funding is provided by NSW Government through Stronger
Communities Fund – Major Projects Program (SCFMPP).
Design Consultation
Streetscapes Package One has finished this stage
Council would like to thank everyone who participated in
providing valuable feedback for each of the location that will be
delivered as part of Streetscapes Package 1 through the SCFMPP. The
consultation period ran from 4 July to 25 July 2018.
Design Approval
Streetscapes Package One has finished this stage
Following a review of community feedback and discussions
with the design consultant, concept designs were finalised
and approved which formed part of Streetscapes Package 1. This package of works
were released for Tender and a Contract awarded.
Contractor Appointed
Streetscapes Package One has finished this stage
Snowy Monaro Regional Council will be working with McMahons
Pty Ltd who have successfully been appointed as the Principal Contractor
responsible for delivering the projects that make up Streetscapes
Package 1.
Site works
Streetscapes Package One is currently at this stage
Following the procurement and project scheduling
requirements, construction and site works are due to commence in July 2019.
