Thank you to everyone who contributed to our online or in-person engagement, where we were gathering insight from users on how the new Village Library Outreach Service can best service our community. Our team is now collating and reviewing the feedback which will inform how our library will deliver this new service from 1 November 2024.

Background

As part of the Council's commitment to financial sustainability, we are implementing changes to library services in our smaller towns and villages. The current Mobile Library will be replaced by a new Village Library Outreach Service.

We're seeking your input to help shape this new service.

While the decision to replace the Mobile Library has already been made by Council resolution, we want to understand how we can best meet community needs within the new Village Library Service model.

Providing feedback

This survey asks about your library usage and preferences.

Your feedback will shape the new Village Library Outreach Service that will provide access to library resources for our rural and remote communities.

You can provide your feedback here or stop by one of our in-person sessions that will be held at our existing mobile library locations.
