The Snowy Monaro Regional Economic Development Strategy 2018-2022 (REDS) identified the development and implementation of an Activation Plan for Bombala as an early-stage action that will help grow the population to deepen the region’s markets.
The draft Activate Bombala 2020-25 has been informed by previous community consultation, other actions in the REDS and projects in the Bombala area that Council has previously committed to.
Draft Activate Bombala 2020-25 details its own strategic context, a range of challenges Bombala needs to overcome and multiple actions for Council, the Bombala and District Chamber of Commerce, the Bombala business community and the general community to implement over the next 3 - 5 years, to 2025.

Council wishes to consult and collaborate with the Bombala community to stimulate additional economic activity for the town, improve liveability and attract working families to Bombala.
The community is encouraged to provide feedback on the draft Activate Bombala 2020-25 via the below survey.
Council will also host a drop-in session to discuss Activate Bombala 2020-25 in February 2020, dates to be confirmed in the new year.
